Previously announced as the next SoC OnePlus One, the Snapdragon 800 was only a smokescreen. Tacking on his Facebook page: the smartphone OnePlus One will host a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.
The OnePlus One is powerful. It is in any case what we can say with the arrival of a new component in the smartphone OnePlus. The 801 is the latest in the family Snapdragon from Qualcomm. It was announced at the MWC, there a month. Compatible LTE Category 4, each of the four processor cores is clocked at 2.5 GHz. In addition, the processor includes a GPU Adreno 330. This is the same team that SoC Galaxy S5. This edge reversal is rather strange.
This change of processor, while the S800 was officially recorded by the team of OnePlus, shows a funny communications strategy on the part of Chinese startups. Unless, of course, that the affair was a complete fabrication or then it means that the team OnePlus got enough cost from Qualcomm to change the OnePlus One processor at the last moment. Hopefully this change will not hinder the smartphone’s calendar, although no release date has been communicated (OnePlus some members of the forum put forward the hypothetical 30 April).
Anyway, the OnePlus One will no doubt play in the big leagues. According to data revealed in dribs and drabs by the startup OnePlus, the smartphone will have a 3100 mAh battery, screen 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p), a 13-megapixel camera (opening 2.0, ability to shoot 4K). We still struggling to guess the terminal’s design, although designs have been circulating on the latter. Finally, remember that the OnePlus One is the first smartphone specially designed to incorporate a custom ROM CyanogenMod (CM 11).
