Google just integrated a new feature for developers in the Play Store: the ability to accurately plan the deployment of an update of an application.
This new feature is a clear advantage for the general public when an update to a popular application comes out, it will no longer need to beg for a link to the fichier.apk for a new version of the application at the same time others. Indeed, developers can now use the Play Store developer console to schedule the exact date planning an update of their application.
There are of course some limitations. Planning only works for updates and not for the first publication of an application. Second, Google states that it is not possible to “undo changes made in release mode planned.” For those interested in this feature, Google has released a French documentation that can be consulted at this address.
